Audrey Limery is the CEO & founder of Kweevo, a seasoned Data and AI expert and an award-winning entrepreneur and an alumnus of our Barclays Black Founder program. As a Data Strategist and a Data Scientist, she helps businesses get more value from their data, in order to drive innovation & value, boost revenue, and transform companies into data-driven organisations.

  • We launched our first Wray Forward community networking event earlier this month, and what an evening it was! It was an evening spent with the founders of Juici Jerk, discussing their immense success and how it was achieved by growing their community base. Keep an eye on this page so you don’t miss out on our next networking event coming up soon
  • Following the success of our last community gathering as part of our Immerse program with Lloyds, we are back with our second event on Sept 10th! It will be an afternoon of insightful keynote speeches, networking, mentoring, business showcases and a great time! There are limited spaces, register your interest here!
  • Our Thrive with Sainsbury’s program launches on Aug 25th and we couldn’t be more excited!!

  • Shoutout to Margaret Oki, who has just co-founded and launched a low-waste food and beverage brand and the UK’s first horchata; Gretel & Belle! (It’s a creamy and delicious plant-based drink made with tiger nuts). In just a few months they’ve been incubated by UCL and accelerated by the LSE! Follow them on Instagram to keep up with Gretel & Belle!

Upcoming Events

  • Are you a founder looking to start or scale up your business journey? Are you interested in building a community with like-minded individuals? Do you want to learn from highly established and successful CEOs? Join us on Wednesdays for our Wray Forward workshops!
  • Are you an early-stage start-up using geospatial and property data or technology? The award-winning Geovation Accelerator Programme backed by Ordnance Survey and HM Land Registry is now open for applications!! The Programme offers up to £20K equity-free grant funding and perks equivalent to over £100k including workshops, coaching, access to data from Ordnance Survey and HM Land Registry and more benefits all designed to help start-ups grow. Applications close at 23:59 (BST) on September 5th.
  • Gapwhiz, an organisation that supports students and recent graduates seeking work opportunities, is hosting a remote Q&A session with seven industry professionals across the fields of Law, Journalism, Medicine, Academia and Tech. The session will take place Sunday 4th September, 10am — 11am. If you interested in signing up to attend the online session please complete this form.
  • Are you looking to scale your business? To effectively take the right steps in scaling your start-up, you need to consider various fa ctors such as operations, sales, processes, teams and your business plan. Our next Immerse evening spotlight, in partnership with Lloyds Banking Group, will take place on Tuesday 30 August, 18:30–20:15. During this session, we will be helping founders to understand and learn the critical steps, processes and resources behind effectively scaling a business, regardless of what business it is! Funding Feature

  • AVIVA Community Fund: Are you a small charity that needs funding and support? Applications are open throughout the year, with £250,000 of funding distributed by their employees every 3 months. This is an exciting opportunity to help get your idea off the ground!

  • The Black Artists Grant (BAG) is offered by Creative Debuts as no-strings-attached financial support to help black artists. They can spend the grant on whatever they want — be that make new work, buy equipment or materials, travel, research, visit exhibitions or conferences, or to even just cover some living expenses.

  • Future 100 provides investment and access to supply chains, backed up by expert business advice, coaching and mentoring, to break down the significant barriers faced by Black British entrepreneurs when setting up and growing their businesses. They are offering funding of up to £15,000 for up to 100 of the most innovative new business ideas and exciting existing companies.
